Building on the SCA+ in SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability, this certification demonstrates knowledge of how to plan, deploy, test and manage SLES for SAP Applications to provide High Availability for key SAP workloads, following SUSE Best Practice.

Prerequisites
To earn the SCE in SLES for SAP Applications 15 certification, candidates must:
- Earn the prerequisite SCA+ in SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability 15 certification
- Pass 2 core exams
- SCE in SLES for SAP Applications 15 - Part 1
- SCE in SLES for SAP Applications 15 - Part 2
The SCE in SLES for SAP Applications Part 1 exam covers using SLES for SAP Applications to Provide High Availability for S/4HANA and Netweaver.
The SCE in SLES for SAP Applications Part 2 exam covers using SLES for SAP Applications to Provide High Availability for SAP HANA Scale Up.
It is not required to take the courses or exams in order to earn the certification.
The exams cover the content in the following courses:
- Part 1 - Using SLES for SAP Applications 15 to Provide High Availability for S/4HANA and Netweaver (SLE322V15)
- Part 2 - Using SLES for SAP Applications to Provide High Availability for SAP HANA Scale Up (SLE323V15)
As with all SUSE certifications, course work is not required. You need to pass this certification exam and meet the prerequisites in order to achieve the certification. We highly recommend you study the objectives and prepare for the exam.
